Current or magazine size: which one do I need?
Current size fits modern American comics. Magazine size is wider and taller, for magazines and older or oversized formats. Measure the issue if you are not sure, a bag that is too big lets the comic move inside.
How does the closure work?
Each sleeve has an adhesive strip on the flap, so the bag closes over the comic and its backing board and stays closed. You can open it to read the issue and close it again.
Do I need backing boards as well?
Yes, if you care about the spine. The bag keeps dust and humidity out, and the backing board is what keeps the issue flat and the corners square. They are made to be used together.
